THE OFFICIAL GLOBAL KAPAP WEBSITE

Global Kapap was formed in 2011, working directly at that time with instructors from the Metropolitan police the organisation (BKA) was created. The original KAPAP system was developed in the late 1930's in palestine after a few underground units studied the British Soldiers and Captains and how they used sticks and other weapons for defence and control. Today modern KAPAP is constantly being updated and tested to be one of the most formidable defensive systems in the world. It has become popular amongst many martial art and Krav Maga organisations worldwide either as an add on to their system or as a complete quick and easy form of realistic self defence measures.

GLOBAL KAPAP HISTORY

Follow our story from 2011 until now. Join our journey of understanding and collabaration, bringing Kapap and Krav Maga together into one brotherhood of a global network, exchanging ideas and knowledge.

2011

British Kapap was formed by Adrian Valman and two police officers from the UK after meeting and training together on a self defence course. We became members of the British Combat Association and organised seminars for the 'PFOA' Police Firearms Officers Association.

2012

British Kapap had grown from a small group to expanding across Europe. Many changes had to be made to deal with the sudden growth. We started travelling across Europe and began working with some large organisations cross teaching our systems of self defence.

2013

British Kapap became recognised Internationaly, with instructors and representatives in Europe and beyond. BKA is now across several countries in Europe and still expanding. We are now working together with the WKMF and FKMI to expand Kapap even further.

2014

British Kapap formed a Network in 2013, this was called 'Global Kapap' this network has spread across Europe and beyond, opening the door for many other organisations to work with us, cross teaching and forming a family, a brotherhood of teachers and students working together for the same goal.

2015

British Kapap has been operating for 5 years across Europe and the UK and is going to the Far East, Indonesia in January 2015, to open it's first Kapap Club in Asia. British Kapap has expanded to Sri Lanka and will also, later this year be co-operating with some amazing Israeli organisations.

2016

We will be joining forces with other international organisations to form a brotherhood of NO EGO, NO POLITICS, JUST TRAINING. The BKA continues to grow with training now back in Israel and also spreading across a few new countries in 2016. This year coming we will see a few good changes.

2017

In 2017 we look forward to working together with the IDSA & WSDA in Italy. We move into our 7th year with growth and knowledge, training and updating KAPAP/CQB with Amit Himelstein direct from Israel as well as working with many other instructors and organisations around the world to improve knowledge and friendships.

2018

In 2018 we have a trip to Israel to train with the IKF in the latest CQB course with Amit Himelstein and Chaim Peer. We will also be holding our first Italian International Seminar in Verona in May, Austria Instructors update also in May. We also hope to hold our first International Shooting Course in Poland.

NETWORK COLLABORATION

Our non-political, no-ego network, allows other organisations to work with and along side us, without changing names, or having to belong to the same group. If your organisation or club wishes to be part of our global network and wishes to just swap knowledge and learn from each other, please email us for more info.
